through His Word
1 Timothy Ch. 1 Teach no other doctrine than the glorious gospel of the blessed God.
v.1-4 Teach the truth that produces faith and Godly edification, rather than fables and endless genealogies that produce disputes.
v.5-7 Teach the truth that produces love that is strong and sound because it comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith.
v.8-10 The law is good to show us what is righteous and where we fall short of it; it shows us what character qualities and what practices are contrary to God’s teaching of righteousness.
v.11-13 This gospel of God was mercifully committed to Paul’s trust, although he was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man.
v.14-17 In Christ, Paul received grace, faith, love, and mercy, that He might show in him the pattern of longsuffering that is extended to all who believe on Him for everlasting life.
v.18-20 So wage the good warfare for the gospel, having faith and a good conscience, so that you do not suffer shipwreck because of error and ungodliness.
