Since the Bible is a treasure and its principles are relevant to everyday life, what tools can we use to study the Bible for ourselves? The tools I want to share with you are easy to use because you look for things, such as the main characters and repeated words in a chapter. I am a visual learner, so along with explaining what to do, I’ll show you. Today we have Steps 1-4 and on Thursday Steps 5-7. With each step, there is a picture illustrating that tool. I love Bible study. As a preteen, I loved the Bible so much I wanted to grow up and teach it with my family. I loved Psalms because it showed me God’s caring, rescuing, formidable side. I loved the Gospels because I could picture Jesus walking among the crowds and healing, teaching, and loving them. I was in awe of God’s power as I read the glorious, cosmic, and strange events of Revelation and Daniel. Romans gave me an assurance of having life with God and no condemnation from Him. Proverbs deliciously included so much wisdom in one book, it was an adventure to read it all and try to keep up. The Bible came alive as I started studying it for myself.
