Breaking the Chains: God Is Greater

A Recap

Although we battle spiritual enemies every day, our God is greater than any enemy we face. He who parts the seas and stops the mouths of lions, can empower us to win our spiritual battles. He who calms the storms, can calm our circumstances or the storms in our hearts. He who heals and raises the (spiritually) dead, can heal us and breathe life into relationships, dreams, zeal, and joy. God is greater than anything that troubles us, and He has given us the principles we need to be overcomers.

So what battle are you facing right now? In our series Breaking the Chains, 6 guest bloggers and I have covered 13 forms of spiritual bondage. We’ve shared stories, Scripture, and practical principles for breaking the chains of the spiritual enemies listed below. Click on a phrase to visit that post. It’s our prayer that this series empowers you to win your spiritual battles and throw off the chains that God never meant for us to wear. I suggest bookmarking this recap page so you can use this series as a resource for victory.

In the Breaking the Chains series, check out the posts on the following subjects:

Life is too precious a gift to live in bondage. Overcome whatever plagues you in the power of God, and depend on Him as your Rescuer, your Hero, and your Bondage-Breaker. Victory is possible because God makes it possible.

I wasn't sure what I was supposed to put in the subject line. I am new here.  These are some great topics for helping us know how to break the chains of bondage we might be in. Recently the Lord has been convicting me of a certain one - well, actually, a couple - so I will go to read those. Thanks so much. Blessings, Amy

Katy, this is such a necessary study/resource for all followers of Jesus Christ. We miss so much of the freedom we have in Christ when we ignore the bondage we've embraced and lug around, deminishing our reflection of Christ in our lives. He shines through us more brightly when we release the baggage weighing us down, leaving it at the feet of Jesus. Thank you for digging deep and for you and your team bringing this to us. Blessings!

Katy, this is wonderful and such a powerful tool to help others. A scripture I live by is "If God be for me, then who can [DARE] to be against me?" Thank you for sharing this with us.
