Door Post Verses: Unearthing Treasures

by Katy Kauffman

When you visit someone’s home and see Scripture in various places around the house, you know you’ve found a kindred spirit. Often when my family invites friends over or sometimes when a repairman visits, I pray that they feel God’s presence at our house. Surrounding loved ones with Scripture—whether it is on the walls, on decorations, or in our hearts—is a way to bless them and their outlook on life.

For two months, guest writers and I have discussed a multitude of Scriptures that we can place around our house or keep treasured in our hearts. We have unearthed Bible verses on 7 subjects as you see below. Click on any topic to see its post, and be sure to click on the Introduction to see pictures of how you can display Scripture around your home.

We have more posts coming! But I’d like to know … What topics would you want to see Bible verses on? Tell us in the comments below (for our blog subscribers, click here to leave a comment). May God’s Word continually be a treasure that you cherish and share in your home.

P.S. Don’t forget that there’s still time to enter the giveaway for a copy of the NKJV Journal the Word Bible, which has enough space to journal about the treasures you find. We’re also giving away a copy of 66 Ways God Loves You. Both giveaways end this Wednesday, November 16th, and the winners will be announced on Facebook and Twitter on November 17th
