Peace is a beautiful word. I once pictured peace as gentle waves lapping onto a shore. Since I’ve seen a little more of life’s struggles, now I picture peace as a calm heart in the midst of a storm. I understand from experience that even though our circumstances aren’t trouble-free, we can have God’s peace on the inside. He does calm storms (Psalm 107:29). Either within or without. ...
