- Faith is:
- a personal acknowledgement that the gospel is true,
- a personal surrender to the person of Jesus Christ, and
- resulting conduct that is consistent with that acknowledgment and surrender.1
- “Faith is trust in the unseen … not … in the unknown.”2
- “Faith is allowing the truth to exert an influence over one’s heart and life.”3
- “Faith is … the means of appropriating what God in Christ has for man, resulting in the transformation of man’s character and way of life.”4
