Lists – Jesus’ Response to Us
Based on Luke Chapter 7, this is how Jesus responds to people with power, compassion, and the truth:
- Jesus responds to faith and understanding, with the power to heal. (v.1-10)
- Jesus responds to our sorrow with compassion and help. (v.11-17)
- Jesus’ power supplies evidence of the truth—He is the One we need. (v.18-23)
- Being immersed in repentance of sin, prepares us for faith in Jesus. (v.24-30)
- Jesus’ words and power can be resisted by men. (v.31-35)
- Jesus’ mercy has the power to turn a heart filled with sin, to a heart filled with love and devotion. (v.36-39)
- Jesus responds to the debt we owe Him with forgiveness, and we respond to Jesus with love. (v.40-50)
