Katy Kauffman

Meet Katy

I love people, and I love Scripture. I have the best of both worlds by studying the Bible with fellow believers in Christ and writing about it with them too.

I love God. He’s Home. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 107:9 (NKJV) which says, “For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.” I’m thankful God has worked this reality in my heart, and I want other people to know Him too.

I love publishing. I had the dream of teaching God’s Word in small groups, and we’d have a family Bible ministry. God expanded the dream to include publishing. What an adventure. We started Lighthouse Bible Studies in 2013, and next year I will have been writing about God’s Word for fifteen years. A gift indeed.

Are You Artsy?

If you love art and crafts, you’re invited to join my Facebook group called My Artsy Tribe. A place where Christian creatives can connect and say, “This is my tribe!”

We share pictures of what we’re making, and several of us meet every other Sunday afternoon on Zoom to practice hand lettering, discuss a devotion, and fellowship.

Check out MyArstyTribe.com, and follow the blog for craft ideas, art techniques, reviews of how-to art books, and devotions for the artsy soul.
