Be Active in Waiting for Jesus’ Return

How can we be faithful to God until Jesus returns again? Read Chapter 3 of 2 Thessalonians and then the application below.

2 Thessalonians Ch. 3: Be active in waiting.

v.1-2  Pray that the word may have a free and effective course in the world, and that workers for the gospel may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men.

v.3-4  God will establish you and guard you from the evil one, so continue to do the things you have been commanded to do.

v.5  May the Lord direct your heart to love God and to exercise Christlike steadfastness and endurance.

v.6-12  Don’t let others work to provide for your needs, but do your own work, and withdraw from those who won’t.

v.13  Don’t grow weary in doing good.

v.14-15  Admonish as family, those who won’t obey God’s word, and don’t keep company with them.

v.16-18  May the Lord and His peace and grace be with you all.
