through His Word
"What Does God Do in Our Lives?"
He rescues us. When we place our faith in God, He works to rescue our souls from famine, dryness, coldness, isolation, oppression, and wandering. He rescues our souls from famine by nourishing them with the truth. He rescues our souls from dryness by bringing joy and laughter back into life. God rescues our souls from coldness and isolation by placing us in meaningful relationships and a forever family. He rescues our souls from oppression by stopping the mistreatment or by giving us what we need to see good come out of a bad situation. He rescues our souls from wandering by giving us a purpose and a home with Him. God rescues our souls, and as we cooperate with Him, He sustains that rescue. …
God is a good and loving Father who shares daily life with us. He answers our questions and provides solutions or comfort for our problems. He provides us with love, good, and care that will not be taken away. He sets our aspirations high and helps us to achieve them. He invests in our lives as our Shepherd, Guide, Comforter, Helper, Coach, and Enabler. He relieves our burdens, confusion, sorrow, heaviness, and uncertainty. He helps us to think straight. In prayer, He leads our thoughts and enriches them, and He paints our perspective for the day with brightness and color.
