I pray the following prayer often. It took on special meaning this week as I was studying Revelation Chapters 6-9. In one of the judgments in Ch. 9, a third of mankind will be killed.

We have time now to make a difference in people’s lives, so that some of them may choose faith in Jesus, and not have to endure the judgments of sin that are coming in the last days. May we live our days to make a difference for God and for the good of those around us.

The “May We Live” Prayer

May we live out the kingdom of God that You are building within our hearts and minds,

may we live under Your leadership and protection,

may we live within the boundaries for good that You have established,

may we live to see Your power at work within us and among us,

may we live as good stewards of the power You have given us to live the truth and to share the truth,

may we live within Your embrace as dear children and grow up to be Your true friends,

may we live with truth and love as an established reality within our hearts and minds, that is expressed in our thoughts, words, and actions, and

may we live to show the delights of who You are.

In Jesus’s name, Amen.
