Bits of Wisdom – Love

Love is a covenant-type framework for relationships. It has its own value system—it values God and all people. It has its own way of thinking, feeling, and acting that are disclosed in God’s word. It has its own purposes in life, to build Godly relationships—to gather people together in families, friendships, and work and ministry teams; and to touch the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Love’s mandate is to join people to God and to one another in ways that are satisfying and fulfilling, to knit hearts together as one. Love’s work is to be used by God to build a “forever us” that is pleasing to Him.
