Count on God’s Investment in Your Ministry: A Prayer Based on Philippians 1

Read Philippians Chapter 1 and then the prayer below. May God help us to count on what He can do in our lives and ministries.

Dear Father,

Please help my brothers and sisters in Christ, locally and around the world, to remember that You’re always working within them and You’re faithful to complete what You start (v.6).

Please help them grow in receiving Your love and giving it out and to have discernment in how to share Your love with a hurting world (v.9-11).

Help them to see how the hard things they’re going through, can actually further the reach of the gospel and help someone else, so people can know the truth and have hope (v.12-13).

Help us to “preach Christ” or proclaim Him out of love and to be faithful with the calling You’ve given us (v.15-17).

Help us to see why it’s worth it to persevere for Christ’s sake and continue serving people You’ve given us to love (v.21-25).

Help us to live out what we study in Scripture and what we say, teach, and write (v.27). You are worth choosing. Every single day.

Thank You for Your investment in our daily lives and ministries. We choose You and Your mission to reach the world for Jesus. In His name, Amen.
