Lists – Grow Spiritually

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” (1 Peter 2:2 KJV)

“Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18 KJV)

Grow spiritually:

• increase in spiritual knowledge
• take on God’s likeness
• practice His ways
• increase in closeness to God and in how well you relate to Him
• serve God
• grow in character: who you are and how you express it, how you think, why you do what you do, what you aspire to, who you love and how you express it

Examples for us:

Noah – I will do what You say.

Abraham – I will follow where You lead.

Moses – I will persevere in Your will, even against opposition.

Joshua – I will fight under Your leadership.

David – I will look to You, count on You, and join my heart to Yours.
