Prayers – I Have You in My Heart

Who do you have in your heart? A friend, a spouse, a parent, a child?

In Philippians Chapter 1, the apostle Paul said he thanked God every time he thought of the believers in Philippi. He told them, “I have you in my heart” (Phil 1:7 AKJV).

What could we pray for those who have a special place in our hearts?

Dear Father, I thank You for those You’ve given me to know and to love. I pray that they would depend on You for the grace they need each day to do what’s good. Be with them in their challenges, and give them joy in the “hard.” Help them to understand the special place You have in Your heart for them, and strengthen their own hearts with Your love and help. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
