Writing Tips – Spend the Time That Writing Takes

I thought writing a book-length Bible study was taking a long time, until I realized toward the end of the process that God had another purpose in mind.

He was using the time to change my character, adjust my perspectives, and warm my heart with love and understanding. He used the process to help me see more clearly—to see Him, myself, people, and spiritual realities and principles.

He used the time that we spent together poring over His word to make progress in setting things right in my heart and mind. He fashioned for me a new default setting, or at least a different and stronger one, out of which to live my life.

Fellowship with God and time spent discovering timeless truths in His word have made my soul healthier.
